Academic and Professional Development support is provided by different organisational units.

Academic Development Support

Provided by the Academic Enhancement and Professional Development (AEPD) team, supporting the implementation of the educational and assessment strategies by providing course and teaching support to academic staff. Provision includes the Postgraduate Certificate in Academic Practice in Higher Education; Introduction to Teaching and Learning in Higher Education short course; and the University’s professional recognition route for Advance HE Fellowship.

Professional Development Support

• Providing leadership, management and personal development opportunities to both our Academic and Professional Services staff
• Equality Diversity & Inclusion - promoting equality for staff, students and visitors to Coventry University
• Apprenticeships - offer workforce development strategies, that feature a combination of on and off the job learning for staff and new recruits into CU Group
